A Taste of History Travel Edition

This special edition DVD has never been seen on TV before and is a special commemorative piece.

For the show, Chef Staib has traveled to China, Japan, Germany, England, Turks and Caicos, Jamaica, Antigua, The Bahamas, Grenada, Guyana, Malaysia, St Lucia, South Africa and more.

He has illuminated ingredients such as Blue Mountain coffee, chocolate, nutmeg and sushi. In each locale, Chef Staib meets with locals to learn their history and the heritage of meals they eat, including Guyanese curry influenced by Indian settlers or St Lucian oil down. Chef Staib travels to Malaysia to learn the origins of catchup.
